Mini-PCNL (Mini Percutaneous Nephrolithotripsy)
Indications
Mini-percutaneous nephrolithotripsy is performed in the presence of the same symptoms and indications as conventional PERC:
- kidney stone 1 — 3 cm
- conducting sessions of DLT did not yield the expected effect;
- there is a need to eliminate complications after DLT;
- there are «impacted» or infected stones in the ureter and kidneys;
- the patient is indicated for combined therapy (DLT + mini-PERC).

Features of the mini-percutaneous nephrolithotripsy procedure
The procedure is performed in an operating room equipped with X-ray. During the stone removal manipulations, ultra-thin instruments are used, which cause virtually no harm to the renal structures and minimize the risk of bleeding. The stone can be removed whole or fragmented using laser equipment, after which the removal of foreign particles from the organs is performed.

The effectiveness of mini-PERC is 95% while minimally traumatizing the kidney and the cavity system. The likelihood of complications is minimal. After the operation, the patient is monitored by a specialist.
Recovery takes 2-3 days.
