Hydrocele
Hydrocele is a condition in which an excessive amount of serous fluid accumulates in the membranes of the testicle, leading to an increase in the scrotum. The volume of fluid in the scrotum can reach up to 2 liters, causing aesthetic and significant physical discomfort. Impaired blood supply to the testicle during the illness leads to atrophy (loss of functionality) of the organ and can result in male infertility.

Symptoms of Hydrocele
The disease manifests as an enlargement of the corresponding half of the scrotum, a feeling of heaviness, and sometimes pain or discomfort while walking.
Diagnosis of Hydrocele
Examination and standard ultrasound examination allow for the diagnosis of hydrocele.
Treatment of Hydrocele
Typically, the treatment of hydrocele is performed through surgical methods. The operation is not considered complex but requires caution and skill from the physician. The choice of surgical intervention method depends on the amount of fluid accumulated in the membranes of the testicle. Surgeries are performed under local anesthesia. After the procedure, the patient is monitored in the hospital for another 2-3 days.
